LPM9 Available Now!

I had released LPM9 last night but I was told that it was immediately blocked because of copyright detection by MediaFire, which I've been having a problem with lately (more info later in this post). So I'm trying something new. I uploaded the set again only this time the files have been renamed. Follow the instructions below to download LPM9!

Download Instructions

  1. Click here or the album cover below to download the file ("LPM9.uncertain")
  2. Once saved, rename the file to "LPM9.rar".
  3. Use WinRAR or a similar program to extract the files.
  4. Once extracted, follow the instructions on the "readme.txt" file. It should say to rename all files ending in the ".sound" extension to ".mp3"
  5. If the download link is not available or if you're having issues with the steps above, leave a comment on this post or send me a direct message on Twitter.

Regarding Mashups

As I mentioned before, I've been having issues with mashups lately. Many of my sets have been taken down by MediaFire and in the recent case of LPM9 I have determined it's by audio detection that works even with compressed folders rather than complaints from record labels. So I've decided to test the length that this copyright detection goes to and renamed the files to use different extensions, ".uncertain" for .rar files and ".sound" for .mp3s. Hopefully MediaFire won't be able to detect the music within the files that way. If this ends up working and LPM9 is still around later this week, then I will be doing the same for the other sets that have been removed.

I will be taking an indefinite hiatus for mashups. This MediaFire issue plus other stuff I'm working on taking up my attention has brought up the decision that mashups are not worth it for me right now to work on. Maybe I'll make some more in the future but right now I'm more focused on my music, ReGeneration, and YouTube. LPM9 was a great distraction while I work on some of this stuff but it did take up a lot of time and I'm ready to start pushing out this new stuff.
