Details and Conditions

I haven't found anything on Activision's side yet.

From Blizzard's Video Policy:

"Blizzard Content must be limited to non-commercial purposes."

"you are permitted to create video productions using Blizzard's Content, and to distribute them freely on your website, or on other websites where viewers can freely view your Production."

"Neither you nor the operator of any website where your Production(s) may be viewed can force a viewer to pay a "fee" to be able to view your Production(s)."

"Blizzard also requires that Productions maintain the "T" rating that has been given to its products by the ESRB"

See more details by clicking the "source" link below.

What it Means

  • Videos and streams ARE allowed

  • You CAN monetize on YouTube and Twitch with ads and subscriptions

  • You CANNOT sell or charge for access to your content (this would include Twitch "subscriber only" streams or selling merchandise)

  • Any licensed IP or music not owned by the publisher are not covered by this policy

  • Video content must be kept inline with the "T" ESRB rating of the games
